What is the Dota 2 MMR System?

Initially, a newbie in Dota 2 is not available for ranked matches, but upon reaching 100 hours played in All Pick and Turbo, the player gains access to the ranked mode. First, you need to play calibration matches. These are ten matches that determine what initial MMR the game system will assign to you. It is affected by both the outcome of these matches and your in-game effectiveness during the game.

In the past, a player earned and lost a fixed number of MMR points for a win or loss, but now the system works a little differently. The number of MMR points depends on which opponents you were able to defeat. In a match against higher-ranked players, you will earn more points than for victories over less experienced opponents. The current system with Dota 2 ranks was introduced in 2017.

There are eight Dota 2 ranks in the game, each of which reflects the user's level of play and has fixed MMR points, except for Immortal. The Immortal rank is awarded to the most experienced players who have managed to score more than 5420 MMR points.

Immortal

The Immortal rank can be obtained by collecting more than 5420 MMR points. This is a special type in the Dota 2 ranks system, in which the player is also assigned a serial number depending on the place in the regional rating table. In turn, it is divided into:
