New Valorant Agent Clove Details – Abilities, Role, Release Date
Yuriy SheremetVALORANT continues its rapid development. The team shooter from Riot Games is evolving on several fronts: its esports, where the VCT 2024 season is gaining momentum, as well as gameplay updates that keep players engaged. However, the main feature is how Riot combines these similar but still different aspects of their game.
During the VCT 2024: Masters Madrid finals, the first major LAN tournament in 2024, Riot Games presented the next Valorant agent, Clove. In this article, we get closer to Clove and tell you everything you need to know about this agent: abilities, role, release date, biography, and so on.
Valorant Clove abilities
Clove, like the rest of the agents in Valorant, is unique. For starters, they are the first non-binary character in Valorant, and moreover – Clove uses the energy of life and death, which makes this controller at least interesting to study and potentially a very strong ally and dangerous enemy. Here's the arsenal Clove uses in combat:
- Meddle (Q): Equip a fragment of immortality essence. Fire to throw the fragment, which erupts after a short delay and temporarily decays all targets caught inside.
- Ruse (E): Equip to view the battlefield. Fire to set the locations where Clove’s clouds will settle. Alt Fire to confirm, launching clouds that block vision in the chosen areas. Clove can use this ability after death.
- Pick-Me-Up (C): Instantly absorb the life force of a fallen enemy that Clove damaged or killed, gaining haste and temporary health.
- Not Dead Yet (X): After dying, activate to resurrect. Once resurrected, Clove must earn a kill or a damaging assist within a set time or they will die.
As you can see, Clove looks like a "hybrid agent". She can both use smokes for push/re-take and act as a duelist thanks to her ultimate ability, Not Dead Yet. I can't wait to try out Clove in combat, and it will be possible very soon.
