NAVI gick vidare till semifinal IEM Cologne 2022
/The NaVi team defeated Movistar Riders with a score of 2:1 and advanced to the semifinals of IEM Cologne 2022. In turn, the Spanish team also made it to the playoffs of the championship, but will start their journey from the quarterfinal stage.
The group A upper bracket final started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Spanish team. At the same time, for some time, the teams tried on each other, until the "Born to Win" made the economy, and at the same time did not provide themselves with a comfortable backlog. However, after the side switch, the game was turned upside down as Movistar Riders showed an exemplary defense, not giving up a single round to the opponent. As a result, the Spanish team easily closed their own pick and took the lead in the series — 16:9.
Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which turned out to be the choice of NAVI. And again, the starting segment turned out to be equal, until the Spanish team adjusted to the opponent's attack and finished the half with a score of 9:6. Nevertheless, after the change of sides, the "Born to Win" managed to return in the second half, showing a confident defense and leveling the score in the series - 16:11.
Everything was decided on the Overpass map, the first half of which ended in a catastrophic defeat for the Spanish team, which managed to take only three rounds in attack. After switching sides, Movistar Riders still tried to make a comeback, but in vain. As a result, NAVI got the most important victory and made it to the semi-finals of IEM Cologne 2022 — 16:10.
