/The Cloud9 team turned out to be stronger than GamerLegion with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made their way to the "legends" of IEM Rio Major 2022. It is noteworthy that groove's wards managed to return during the tournament after two defeats at the start. In turn, the European team leaves the championship, having failed to realize two victories after the first day of IEM Rio Major 2022 Challengers Stage.
The second match of the final day of the Challengers Stage started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of Cloud9. However, the start was entirely up to the GamerLegion players, who showed excellent defense and closed the half with a devastating score of 11:4. It seemed that after winning the pistol round, the European team would easily achieve victory. But here the Cloud9 team joined the game, which made a strong comeback and took the lead in the series — 16:13.
The teams then moved on to Mirage, which turned out to be GamerLegion's choice. Here the struggle turned out to be a little more, since the first half passed without a clear leader. Nevertheless, Groove's men managed to take a little more rounds on defense and gained a minimal advantage before a short break — 8:7. After the change of sides, the situation did not change at all. However, in the very end, Cloud9 managed to win several important rounds to break the opponent's economy, and then get the final victory - 16:13.
