MIBR är vinnaren ESL Challenger League Season 43: North America

ESL Challenger League Season 43: North America has ended. As part of the championship, which was held online from October 25 to December 18, sixteen teams from North America and Brazil fought for a total prize pool of $50,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17. The Brazilian team MIBR became the winner of the tournament, which in the grand final she beat Evil Geniuses Black with a score of 3:1 (Default - 0:1; Nuke - 19:16; Inferno - 16:13; Dust 2 - 16:10).

The Brazilians did not start in the best way in the championship, as they made their way to the playoffs with a creak. However, MIBR needed four wins and three losses in the group stage to take fourth place in their group and knock out the last ticket to the next stage of the competition.

Already in the playoffs, the Brazilian team managed to beat ATK (2:1) and LOS + oNe (2:0), but lost to Evil Geniuses Black (0:2) in the upper bracket final and went to the consolidated final. However, here MIBR managed to cope with LOS + oNe (2:0) to reach the grand final.

Despite the starting gap, the team managed to break Evil Geniuses Black (3:1) and become the winner of ESL Challenger League Season 43: North America. Note that even without a victory, the Brazilian team managed to qualify for ESL Pro League Conference Season 17, which will be held at the end of February.
