9 INE och HONORIS kommer att spela i stängda kvalspel senast IEM Brazil 2023
/The Polish teams 9INE and HONORIS became the winners of the second open qualifier for IEM Brasil 2023 for Europe, thanks to which they advanced to the closed stage of the qualifiers. Now the teams will fight for two tickets to the upcoming championship, trying to cope with a lot of competition from their rivals.
During the qualification, the Polish team 9INE managed to beat Zero Tenacity (16:12), Partizan Esports (16:6), Team BLINK (16:11), Copenhagen Flames (16:13) and SINNERS (2:0), knocking out a ticket to closed qualifiers.
In turn, the HONORIS team turned out to be stronger than SUN Esports (16:10), IBRATA (16:11), Lazer Cats (16:8), Team Falcons (16:12) and VOYVODA (2:0) on their way to keep company with their compatriots in the next stage of the qualifiers.
Results of the second open qualifier for IEM Brasil 2023 for Europe
- 1st-2nd place: 9INE and HONORIS — ticket to the closed qualifier
- 3rd-4th place: VOYVODA and SINNERS
- 5th-8th place: Team Falcons, Eternal Fire, Copenhagen Flames and Sangal Esports
- 9th-16th place: For The Win Esports, 500, IKLA, Lilmix, Team BLINK, GamerLegion, Lazer Cats and Movistar Riders.
Closed qualifiers for IEM Brasil 2023 for Europe will take place from 8 to 10 February online. Here, participants will compete for two available tickets to the championship.

IEM Brazil 2023 will take place April 17-23 in Brazil. Presumably, the venue for the competition will be Rio de Janeiro, where IEM Rio Major 2022 took place last year. As part of the championship, sixteen participants from the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia will compete for a total prize pool of $250,000, as well as a ticket at IEM Cologne 2023 for the winner.
