The Brazilian squad paiN claimed an important victory over GamerLegion with a 2:1 scoreline at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. After losing their own map pick, Nuke, the Brazilians responded confidently on Overpass, then completed an incredible comeback on the decisive Dust2, winning 11 rounds in a row. With this victory, paiN advance to a 2-0 record and are now one step away from the playoffs.
Nuke (13:10 GamerLegion)
The match began on Nuke, the map pick of paiN. The Brazilians managed to secure most rounds on the T side, finishing the first half 7:5, which gave them a slight psychological edge. However, the situation changed once GamerLegion switched to the attacking side. They took control of the map with a series of consecutive round wins, turning the score to 10:7. paiN couldn’t withstand the offensive pressure and eventually fell 10:13.
Overpass (5:13 paiN)
On their opponent’s pick, paiN started in dominant fashion. The Brazilian roster won 11 rounds in a row, closing the first half 11:1. In the second half, GamerLegion found it difficult to get back into the game and ultimately lost 5:13.
