The European squad comfortably converted their own map pick and managed to shut down the opponent’s comeback attempt on Ancient at a crucial moment, securing a 2–0 victory. With this win, G2 continue their journey in the upper bracket, while The MongolZ are forced to look for their chances in elimination matches.

G2 easily won their own map pick. They started on the T side and fully controlled the game from the opening rounds. The MongolZ failed to get into the game and managed to secure only two rounds in the first half. After the side switch, G2 closed out Dust2 without any issues, winning 13:2.
Ancient (13:11 G2)
On their own map, the Mongolian team showed a much better performance. In the first half, they managed to secure five rounds on the T side. After switching sides, The MongolZ went on a six-round streak to take an 11:7 lead, but after losing control of the game, they allowed G2 to win six rounds in a row. G2 ultimately claimed Ancient with a 13:11 victory.
