In the Group A upper bracket quarter-final of BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, NRG faced Falcons in a battle for a spot in the upper bracket semi-final. The series was controlled by Falcons, who confidently closed it out 2–0 and made a strong statement in the group.

The match started on NRG’s pick, Ancient, where Falcons took control from the very beginning, building a solid 9:3 lead. NRG tried to recover on the CT side, but Falcons proved too strong on the offense, closing the map 13:6.

On Dust2, NRG looked more competitive. They managed to put up a fight in the first half and secured a 6:6 scoreline. However, after switching to the T side, NRG struggled to find impact, allowing Falcons to close the map 13:8.

Despite the loss, Sonic from NRG was the standout performer, finishing the match with a 96.2 ADR and a 1.62 rating.

Falcons advance to the Group A upper bracket semi-final, where they will face the winner of Natus Vincere vs B8. Meanwhile, NRG drop to the lower bracket, where they will face the loser of that matchup.

BLAST Open Rotterdam takes place from March 18 to 29, featuring 16 teams competing for the championship trophy and a $250,000 prize pool.
