Format of PGL Arlington Major 2022
Group Stage - August 4-8, 2022:
- Two groups of nine/eight teams each.
- One circular round.
- All matches are played in BO2 format.
- The top four teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs.
- Teams that take 5th and 6th places in each group advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs.
- The remaining teams are eliminated (five teams in total).
Playoffs - August 9-14, 2022:
- Grid with double exclusion.
- All matches, with the exception of the Grand Final, will be played in BO3 format.
- The Grand Final will take place in the BO5 format.
