From 2017 to 2018, he was the host of ELEAGUE, which was broadcasted on US television. Though Lewis has worked closely with PGL in recent years, he had not previously mentioned any involvement with Dota 2. Despite this, he has remained a fan of the game, keeping up with the scene and covering key stories. His last Dota 2 event was the World Showdown of Esports in Las Vegas in 2019.

While Richard Lewis is highly regarded in the esports industry, his relationship with some of the Dota 2 community is more contentious. A notable incident occurred at DreamHack Winter 2015, where he had an altercation with Jonathan "Loda" Berg of Alliance. The two clashed over a joke made on Twitter, which escalated into a physical confrontation. Loda claimed he was assaulted, while Lewis maintained he acted in self-defense. The local police were involved, but no charges were filed. DreamHack released a statement saying that both parties had agreed to resolve the matter and move forward.
