The format of DAC 2018 announced
The organizers of Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 have announced the format of the playoff stage - according to the results four best teams will get to the quarterfinal and another 8 (4 from each group) will start from the Breakout stage. Four collectives showing the worst results are to leave the competition.

The group stage will be held by Round-robin with matches up to one win. The Breakout stage will be held in the Bo1 format and the losers are to leave immediately. At the playoff, we will have meeting up to 2 wins but at the first stages of the losers’ bracket will play in the Bo1 format. The grand final is planned to be held up to 3 wins.

The tournament will be held on 29 March-7 April in China. Sixteen participants will fight for the prize pool of $1,000,000 and 1500 DPC Point. Six of them were invited directly.
