The second round of the Group Stage of The Bali Major 2023 continues. Next up for Chinese Dota fans is the derby between Invictus Gaming and Team Aster, on which we have compiled a betting tip.

Such a figure leaves room for manoeuvre, but in principle indicates a significant underperformance of the favourites. And all because of IG's very negative experience on the international stage and successes only at the local level, in China.
In the first round of DPC 2023 Invictus Gaming finished in the top 6, almost forfeiting their place in the top division, but they were spared. Naturally, Major e was out of the question.
The second round of DPC 2023: China Upper Division was also out of the question, but somehow Invictus Gaming made it there. The team finished in the top-3 in their home league only to crash to the ground in a big hurry: Invictus Gaming finished in the top-18 at the Berlin Major 2023.
DPC's third season offers hope for an IG comeback. The team now travels to Bali with a top-2 DPC in their pocket.

Before the Long Song games with Team Aster Invictus Gaming will play with Execration. I would be hesitant to call them the winner of that match, even despite the pre-match advantage of the once great Chinese club.

Other picks are Spirit Breaker (4 matches, 75% wins), Medusa (4 matches, 75% wins), Silencer (4 matches, 50% wins).
There were also Void Spirit (3 matches, 100% wins), Brewmaster (3 matches, 100% wins), Monkey King (3 matches, 66% wins).
History of head-to-head encounters
The teams have previously played each other in the domestic DPC league. Out of 5 matches IG won 3, the remaining two went to Aster.
Match outcome
Regional battles within the DPC are one thing, but a high-stakes game on the international stage is a completely different story. And so Aster have a much better chance of winning.
I look forward to their implementation by SumaiL and company. Still, I want to believe that in DreamLeague Season 20 Aster frankly bogged down, but in Bali the second breath will open and Aster will show a game at least similar to the one in Berlin.
