During the group stage of The International 2018 Liquid were able to win over their opponents on five maps and lost on three maps which resulted in the second place in Group A.

Winstrike have a worse situation. These players were thought to be outsiders in their group. Performing under the tag FlyToMoon, the collective took the first place in the CIS qualifier for The International, but if their results don’t change, the win at the qualifier will be the last good achievement for Winstrike at The International.
