There are few unforeseen situations, but the last week of the competition can still provoke them. The final tour will be opened by One Move and Darkside.

The match is crucial, since the fight for slots in the Major is not over, although it is close to that. Not finished for places in the top division.

Darkside will come into the fight with 2-3 stats. The team is on the fourth line of the standings and retains a ghostly chance of a trip to Lima to participate in Lima Major 2023.

One Move will start the final week of the competition with a 0-5 statistic. The team is on the last line of the table, and a defeat in this match will put an end to their further stay in the top division.

Let's start the review with an analysis of Darkside's form. They are predicted to be the favorite in this match.

Then the leaders of the region from the BB Team were waiting for the Ramzes team. The “apostle's” company managed to pick up the first card by flying strongly in the score and networth, but lost the next two and the series at the same time.

The difficult calendar for the match against BB hasn't ended. In the fifth series, Team Spirit was waiting for them, and history repeated itself again: 2-1 not in favor of Darkside.

In theory, One Move could have landed in the top division of the DPC next season. Players seem to have experience of playing on the competitive stage and have been “shine” on the regional arena for a long time, but the reality is different.

One Move Performance

One Move appeared in competitive Dota 2 last season. The team played in the second division and at local tournaments in Eastern Europe.

At the DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II Playoffs, the team took first place, which gave them promotion to the first division. Problems began almost immediately, although their effectiveness cannot be called terrible.

Before the debut in the top division, the team took TOP-4 at D2CL Season 11. Already in July, the club started playing in the top league.

At DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division 1, the team took 5th place. This allowed them to keep their slot in the top division.

Later, the period of preparation for the qualifiers for The International 2022 began and the game at local tournaments, mainly D2CL. Qualifiers for TI22 ended for One Move in 4th place, which is quite good.

They also played decently on D2CL. In seasons 13 and 14, the team took the TOP-2, and after that, in the seasons 16 and 17, they took the TOP-3.

Before the start of DPC 2023, the team played at the BB Xmas Show. The commercial tournament ended for One Move in the TOP-10.

At DPC 2023, the team made their debut in the match against HellRaisers. There was no trace of the previous good game last year: One Move lost with a score of 0-2 without a chance, and on the second map they played something like LC in 5th position.

Then there was a small gap in the form of two cards won in two series. Against Spirit and NaVi.

With a 0-3 statistic, the team approached the match against BB Team. The game, surprisingly, did not end with a total beating, and the second map lasted 74 minutes.

The second map in the match against BB hit morale hard, and 0-4 in the standings finished it off. Virtus.pro didn't leave their opponents a chance in the fifth match for One Move.

Heroes of One Move

In patch 7.32 and in recent tournaments, One Move is playing in the meta, but not without experiments (as it was on the second map against HR). Pick Mirana (4 games, 50% win), Rubick (4 matches, 50% win), Lycan (3 matches, 66% win), Storm Spirit (3 matches, 66% win).

History of personal confrontations

Previously, the teams have not met each other in official games. This fight will be the debut full-time clash of the teams.

Match outcome

There are two unstable teams in this match. We saw how Ramzes and co can close the series cleanly and saw that One Move is able to show their teeth, squeezing cards from the favorites and fraying their nerves.

Since One Move butted heads with both Spirit and BB Team, I think they can repeat it in our match. This will be a bet.
