Let me remind you that LCS Summer 2022 is the main esports event in America for the entire League of Legends gaming season. It is here that the teams that will go to the Worlds 2022 will be determined. There will be as many as three of them from this region, two teams-finalists to the main stage and the third to the Play-In stage. In addition to Worlds entries, there is also a $200,000 USD prize pool at stake.

In this meeting, Team Liquid is rightfully considered the favorite. Not only are they one of the top three favorites in the region along with 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses, they have beaten their current opponent twice during the group stage.
FlyQuest, on the other hand, demonstrate approximately the same level of play as at the LCS Spring 2022 split, finishing the group stage rather mediocrely, a little below the middle of the list, in 6th place.
