LCS Summer 2022: Cloud 9 och Team Liquid tog sig till den andra omgången

The first matches of the playoff stage of the American league in League of Legends have come to an end. The best result was shown by Team Liquid, who defeated FlyQuest with a 3-1 result. Cloud9 also coped well with their task, defeating Counter Logic Gaming with a score of 3-2.

Now Team Liquid, who showed a good game, will play with 100 Thieves in the second round of the upper bracket of the playoffs, while Cloud9 is destined to face the players from Evil Geniuses.

The losing teams fell into the lower bracket and now, due to the formation of the next game pairs, FlyQuest will compete with TSM for the right to further participate in the tournament, and Counter Logic Gaming will fight with the Golden Guardians.

LCS Summer 2022 runs from June 18 to September 11. The total prize pool of the American League for League of Legends is $200,000. It is distributed by 10 participants. In addition to the cash pool, three invites to the 2022 World Championship are also up for grabs. The winner, vice-champion and bronze medalist, in addition to invitations to the LoL World Championship, will earn $100,000, $50,000 and $30,000 respectively, and the team that takes fourth place in the standings will receive a consolation prize of $20,000.

Immortals and Dignitas have already completed their journey in the event, taking 9th and 10th places respectively in the table.
