Slutspel VALORANT Champions 2022 kommer att hållas med åskådare på Volkswagen Arena

According to insider George Geddes, the VALORANT Champions 2022 playoffs will take place at the Volkswagen Arena with a capacity of 5,000 people. As such, Riot Games will continue to move its big championships to the arena with spectators.

Volkswagen Arena, which is located north of Istanbul, is set to host the VALORANT Champions 2022 playoffs, though it's not clear if the venue will host the championship's group stage matches. In turn, Riot Games hopes that it will be able to provide mass participation during the seven days of the tournament at the playoff stage from September 9 to 18.

VALORANT Champions 2022 will begin with a group stage, where participants will be divided into four equal groups (four teams each):

• Group A - Paper Rex, Edward Gaming, Leviatán, Team Liquid
• Group B - Optic Gaming, BOOM Esports, ZETA DIVISION, LOUD
• Group C - FunPlus Phoenix, KRÜ Esports, XSET, XERXIA
• Group D - DRX, FURIA Esports, FNATIC, 100 Thieves

The two best teams from each quartet will advance to the championship playoffs, where they will form a double elimination bracket. The lower final and the grand final, which will take place on September 18, will be held in the BO5 format.

VALORANT Champions 2022 will run from August 31 to September 18 in Istanbul. Sixteen teams from all over the world will take part in the tournament. Note that additional qualifying championships will take place in August for the regions: EMEA, North America, Brazil + Latin America, Korea + Japan, South Asia + Oceania.
