/Another gaming day of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo has ended, as a result of which the teams Natus Vincere and Fnatic got another victory to become the semi-finalists of the championship. The day before, the teams from Europe managed to outplay the representatives of America from Leviatán Esports and 100 Thieves to guarantee getting into the TOP-4 of the tournament.
Natus Vincere — Leviatan Esports
The opening match of the gaming day began on the Ascent map, which turned out to be the choice of the Latin American team. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, which allowed the teams to go to the break with a draw - 6:6. However, after the change of sides, the "Born to Win" began to seize the initiative into their own hands. In turn, Leviatán Esports let go of the situation too much, allowing Natus Vincere to put pressure on the attack and take the lead in the series — 13:10.
Next, the teams moved to the map Fracture, which became the choice of the "Born to Win". Here, the intrigue did not run into the server, as the European team immediately seized the initiative and began to destroy the opponent. At the same time, the players of Leviatán Esports did not even wake up in defense, having received only one round - 11:1. Of course, after this, the Latin Americans did not return to the game, while Natus Vincere confidently brought the matter to victory and advanced to the semi-finals of the competition - 13:2.
100 Thieves-Fnatic
The next meeting started on the map Fracture, which became the choice of the North American team. However, 100 Thieves immediately disappeared from the radar, as Fnatic players began to bend their line, gaining round after round. In the end, the North Americans limited themselves to only one round, repeating the "feat" of their colleagues in the region - 11:1. After the switchover, there was no fight, as Fnatic took two rounds and took the lead in the series without any problems - 13:1.
Next, the teams moved to the Icebox map, which turned out to be Fnatic's choice. There was much more struggle here, although the first half again ended in a defeat in favor of the European team - 10:2. However, after switching sides, 100 Thieves made an attempt to return to the game, but Fnatic managed to get the necessary rounds and finally knock out the opponent from the championship — 13:10.
