VALORANT festivities continue in Los Angeles. The biggest championship in the history of the competitive shooter from Riot Gamers continues at VALORANT Champions 2023.

There are 4 teams left in the race for the championship trophy. However, already after this match there are fewer participants.

Fnatic and LOUD will replay the first round of the top grid in the match for the top 3. The winner will move on and take a place in the top 3, while the loser will be one step away from the medals.

We're trying to figure out which team will be stronger, who will manage to make it to the small final of Champions 2023, and then face the loser of the EG/Paper Rex pairing.

Fnatic Form

Let's open the analysis of the clash by analysing Fnatic's form. In this match, the Europeans will be playing first, and the odds for their victory are at 1.45.

Despite Fnatic falling to the bottom of the grid after the first round of play-offs, bookmakers have enough faith in the European top club. It's not surprising, as Fnatic, after getting a shake-up at the Long Island play-offs, continue to show why they are one of the main favourites to win the Champions. However, there are no passing teams left at this stage of the tournament.

Fnatic finished top 3 at VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers and then won at VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers. It wasn't bad on the international stage either: Top 4 at VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen and then Top 6 at Champions 2022.

All of the aforementioned results only multiplied in 2023. Fnatic managed to play 3 events this season, and all of them were more than successful.

The year started with a top-1 finish at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN Sao Paulo, continued with a top-2 finish at VCT 2023: EMEA League, and before travelling to Los Angeles, Fnatic triumphed at VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo.

The latest addition to the lineup was Kamyk. The Pole played with Fnatic at VCT 2023: EMEA League, but he is not a regular player.

Fnatic's first opponent for Champions 2023 was the Japanese from ZETA Division. The Asian club failed to offer Fnatic anything on two maps and lost with the score 6-13 and 5-13.

Next, Fnatic played another representative of Asia, but this time from China. Bilibili Gaming couldn't give Fnatic any resistance: 13-2 to Haven and 13-8 to Lotus brought Fnatic to the VALORANT Champions 2023 play-offs stage.

In the first match of the main stage of VALORANT Champions 2023, Fnatic faced the reigning world champions LOUD. Being the favourites to advance, Fnatic lost 0-2, thus ending up in the bottom of the play-offs.

In the first match of the losers grid FNC beat FUT Esports 2-0 and without much trouble, unlike in the second match. In the match against DRX, the best European team at Champions 2023 lost to the Koreans at Bind with a score of 1-13 (!), but then managed to gather their will and turn the series in their favour.

The most popular map for Fnatic is Lotus. Fnatic have played on it 13 times and have a 92% win rate.

Next are Haven and Split. Both have played 8 games each and have 88% wins each.

There's also Bind, Ascent, and Fracture. Each have 6 games each, but the former has 83% wins and the other two have 67% wins.

Form LOUD

We continue our match analysis with an analysis of LOUD's form. In this match the club is playing as a number two with odds to win at around 2.8.

Prior to the Long Spring Championship it was difficult to predict LOUD high places nevertheless they have already reached the top 4. Hands, as they say, remember and the reigning world champions can still surprise and show high class VALORANT.

LOUD have been showing top flight throughout the 2022 season. They played five championships in the past year, of which they won 3.

The list of triumphs includes VCT 2022: Brazil Stage 1 Challengers, VCT 2022: Brazil Stage 2 Challengers, but most importantly last year's VALORANT Champions 2022.

LOUD have maintained their ability this season. They started it with a top-2 finish at LOCK//IN Sao Paulo, and followed it up with a win at their home, the VCT 2023: Americas League.

Before Champions 2023, LOUD attended another international event. That was VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo, where the 2022 World Champions failed to reach the top. Their journey at the Tokyo Masters was interrupted by EDward Gaming, knocking LOUD out of the event at the Top 8 stage.

The "newcomers" of the line-up are cauanzin and tuyz. They replaced pANcada and Sacy in November last year and since then represent The International heresy LOUD on the international and home stage.

In the first match of VALORANT Champions 2023, the reigning world champions faced South Korea's first team DRX. The tense match ended in favour of the latter with a score of 2-1.

Then LOUD had to play for survival against Liquid. The Brazilians outclassed their European counterparts and closed the series 2-0, defeating Liquid 13-2 and 13-8.

After a solid win over Liquid, LOUD met another EMEA resident of the region, NaVi. Born to win fought fiercely, but after three lengthy maps 13-11 to Pearl, 11-13 to Ascent and 11-13 to Bind, Natus Vincere Ledgeili, putting LOUD through to the play-offs.

So far, the centrepiece match at Champions 2023 has been the clash with Fnatic. The reigning world champions not only outplayed the first challenger for the crown this year, but did it in a dry run, which adds weight.

After triumphing against Fnatic LOUD Ledge or Paper Rex in the game for the top 3, but knocked EDG out of the tournament in the second round of the lower grid, avenging their loss at Tokyo Masters 2023. The last match ended on a 2-1 scoreline in favour of the Brazilians.

LOUD's most popular mappings are Split and Ascent. Both have been played 11 times, where the former has a 64% winrate and the latter 73.

In addition, love Pearl. There in 9 matches LOUD has a 56% win rate.
