Copenhagen Games 2020 organizers canceled tournament due to coronavirus
Before the start of the championship a little more than two weeks remained and now the organizers officially announced the cancellation of the tournament. Copenhagen Games 2020 was supposed to be held from April 8 to 9. For the first time since 2010, this series of championships in Copenhagen will not be continued. The organizers reported that spectators and players who were going to take part in the tournament will be able to get a refund.
A statement to cancel the event came immediately after the Danish government announced the cancellation of all events with an accumulation of more than 10 people. Initially, such a ban was valid until March 30, but was now extended until April 13, in connection with which the organizers had no choice but to cancel the tournament.
Thus, forZe remain the current champions of the Copenhagen Games series. They beat Sprout in the grand finals of the Danish championship a year ago.
