BLAST Paris Major 2023 kommer att erbjuda deltagarna en prispott på $1 250 000
According to Milan Schweid, editor-in-chief of the HLTV portal, the prize fund of BLAST Paris Major 2023 will be $1,250,000. It is expected that in the future prize pool increases will become the norm for the major championships that Valve stands behind.
This is $250,000 more than the major prize pool since MLG Columbus 2016, with the exception of PGL Major Stockholm 2022, which offered $2,000,000 after the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a BLAST press release, the prize pool for BLAST Paris Major 2023 will be $1.25 million. I was told that Valve will cover all of this, so a $250k increase over previous majors could become the standard in the future.
