WESG 2019 Greater China kicks off today
The 12 teams that went through the pre-qualifications today will start participating in the WESG 2019 Greater China. As part of the competition, a prize pool of ¥ 240,000 (~ $ 34,475) and four invites will be drawn. One of them will give the best team the opportunity to speak at the WESG 2019 World Finals, and the other three will provide teams with access to the WESG 2019 APAC, where two invitations to the World Finals will be played.
The WESG 2019 Greater China will be held December 11-14 in Suzhou, China, namely the Suzhou New District Cultural & Sports Center.
The WESG 2019 World Finals will be held next March in Chongqing. The total prize fund of the event will be $ 1,000,000, and 32 teams will participate in its division. In the past, WESG's main cash prize of $ 500,000 was never paid to the winner, and as a result, Windigo Gaming announced the closure of the eSports organization.
