After the first game day, Team Liquid are in the TOP-4 of group B. They share the 2nd place with Shopify Rebellion with 3-1 statistics.

Entity took first place after the first gaming day. The team takes first place in pot B, having won 2 matches out of 2 played.

We figure out who will be stronger in this fight: will one of the teams be able to win the match or will the clubs part ways.

Form Team Liquid

Let's start the review of the match with an analysis of the game form of Team Liquid. The strongest team in Western Europe is in the status of a favorite.

On the first game day, Team Liquid fought against the representatives of neighboring Eastern Europe. First, we met with HellRaisers, who were closed out 2-0 without a chance, but with the BB Team we exchanged courtesies: 1-1.

Before the match with Entity Team, Liquid will play against the Knights. Apparently, that match will end with a score of 2-0 in favor of the “liquid”.

Heroes Team Liquid

In their picks, Liquid focuses on Death Prophet (4 matches, 75% wins), Mars (4 matches, 50% wins), Slark (3 matches, 66% wins), Vengeful Spirit (3 matches, 66% wins), Marci and Pudge (3 matches, 66% of wins).

Form Entity

On the opposite side of the map of the Battle of the Ancients there will be Entities. The team will play in the match as an outsider.

Despite the success of Entity on the first gaming day, the bookmaker does not believe in them at all. The odds for winning are around 7.

Such a gap seems too total to me. I agree that Liquid looks and that importantly they looked better throughout the season, but you shouldn’t completely dismiss the possibility of Entity to fight.

Entity Composition

I was skeptical about the Entity roster before the start of Lima Major 2023, but now I see that it was in vain. The team starts to work and it pleases.

The watson that arrived in Lima looks fine, but somehow there is too much about him. After all, there are other players besides him, no worse.

The same Stormstormer, for example, is a fully capable mid player and in the new season he plays the role of the first violin. Another thing is that he will have to play against Nisha on the mid lane.

Entity Performance

Entity took 4th place at DPC 2023 from Western Europe. The team played in replays for 3 teams and ended up second there.

In addition to matches at DPC 2023: WEU Upper Division, Entity played at third-party events. These were tournaments from BB.

Entity played at the Xmas Show even before the start of the DPC and failed there. With the new roster, they took TOP-6, after which they played at another event from BB - BB Universe Comics Zone, where they finished in TOP-4

Entity played against Geek Slate in the first match and Knights in the second. To be frank, Fishman and company got easy opponents, although Geek Slate did notably beat up the Europeans, dragging out two games by 40+ and 60+ minutes.

Today, in addition to the match with Team Liquid Entity, there will be a duel against Shopify Rebellion. That match will be no easier than the current one.

Entity Heroes

Before coming to Lima, they played Death Prophet (12 games, 66% wins), Disruptor (8 matches, 75% wins), Undying (8 matches, 62% wins), Rubick (8 matches, 62% wins).

In Lima, they won three times with Tiny, twice with Enigma, Rubick, Disruptor.

History of personal confrontations

The teams played each other during the regular season. In the only match, Team Liquid defeated Entity with a score of 2-0.

Match outcome

In this fight, I believe in the victory of Liquid. I see the experience of playing within Western Europe as the key to this victory.

Since it is often easier for teams from the same region to play with each other, I see no problem for Liquid to close down opponents that are convenient for them, as they have done before.
