Lag från Latinamerika lämnades utan prispengar för den tredje omgången DPC 2021/22
/According to the Brazilian esports organization SG esports, the organizers of the third round of the DPC 2021/22 for Latin America have not yet paid prize money to the participants of the championship. Thus, tournament operators 4D Esports and BTS BrasilTV violated the main rules of the competition, as they were required to pay prize money within 90 days after the end of the championship.
We tried to have a dialogue, showed patience, but there is a limit to everything. Our players are unable to pay the most common bills to survive, and Valve is completely ignoring us. We have no choice but to ask for support from the community.
Before contacting Valve, we tried to fix the problem with 4D, but despite the promises, we never received our money. We sent a letter to Valve 4 days ago - it still remains unanswered. Please help us get our money!
The rules say 90 days for payment, but the championship ended on July 17, that is, 134 days have passed, and we have not received anything.
In their appeal, representatives of the organization noted that Valve completely ignores this issue, which is why e-sportsmen suffer. At the same time, the letter sent to the developers still remains unanswered.
Note that in mid-November, the Brazilian esports organization SG esports decided to curtail its business operations and leave the esports industry.
DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I took place from June 9 to July 17 online. The winner of the championship was the Thunder Awaken team, which, together with beastcoast, represented their region at PGL Arlington Major 2022.
